We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and results-oriented Bakery Manager to lead the daily operations of our bakery. The Bakery Manager is responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience while developing a strong team, maintaining high operational standards, and driving sales and profitability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who leads by example, holds the team accountable, and creates an environment where team members feel valued, supported, and motivated to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop bakery team members to achieve operational and sales goals.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and team-focused work environment.
• Conduct effective pre-shift huddles and communicate daily priorities.
• Train team members on bakery procedures, product standards, guest service, and food safety.
• Provide ongoing feedback, recognition, and coaching.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and developing new team members.
• Build a strong leadership pipeline and identify team members with growth potential.

Guest Experience

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience during every interaction.
• Ensure team members provide friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging service.
• Monitor and improve guest satisfaction and OSAT performance.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Create a welcoming bakery environment that encourages repeat business and guest loyalty.
• Drive participation in Bundtastic Rewards and other guest engagement initiatives.

Bakery Operations

• Oversee daily bakery operations to ensure company standards are consistently met.
• Maintain high standards for product quality, presentation, freshness, and consistency.
• Ensure proper ROX labeling, FIFO procedures, and product rotation.
• Ensure all bakery areas remain clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational issues are addressed promptly.
• Complete required operational tasks, checklists, and training assignments.

Sales & Business Growth

• Drive sales by identifying and executing local sales and community opportunities.
• Build relationships with businesses, schools, organizations, and community partners.
• Actively pursue catering, fundraising, and outside sales opportunities.
• Ensure the bakery is prepared for promotions, seasonal launches, and special events.
• Monitor sales performance and create action plans to improve results.

Labor & Financial Management

• Manage labor effectively while maintaining excellent guest service and operational standards.
• Monitor sales and labor throughout the day and make proactive staffing adjustments.
• Ensure schedules are aligned with business needs and sales projections.
• Control product waste and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Support COGS and profitability goals.
• Hold the team accountable for productivity and operational efficiency.

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
