Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Santa Rosa, California (95405)
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Employment Type: Travel Contract

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical settings and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Day Shift
• 5x8-Hour Schedule
• Typical Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Variable shifts may be required (primarily starting at 8:30 AM)

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room setting
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist during operations
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care

• Active California RN License (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience
• BLS and other required certifications
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Previous travel nursing experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• Experience in outpatient surgical settings

• Unit: Outpatient Operating Room
• Block Scheduling: Not Available
• Orientation: 40 Hours (Non-Billable)
• Requested Time Off (RTO): Maximum of 7 days

• Acute Care Facility
• Scrub Attire: Facility-provided scrubs or business casual (as applicable)
