Senior Staffing Coordinator - Providence Anchorage

Senior Staffing Coordinator – Providence Alaska Medical Center Position: Senior Staffing Coordinator (Part-Time, 0.8 FTE, Evening Shift, 32 hours per week) at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. Overview: Provides centralized timekeeping for nursing units, approving timecards at the close of each pay period; records, edits, and maintains timekeeping/payroll records for caregivers; creates and maintains nursing unit monthly staff schedules; approves PTO, staff shift trades, and assignment of extra shifts; supports nursing units and Staffing Specialists by updating and monitoring daily schedules; produces balanced monthly unit staffing schedules and arranges supplemental staffing; acts as Kronos support producing reports for nursing leadership as requested. Responsibilities: Centralized timekeeping for nursing units; approval of timecards and payroll records; creation and maintenance of monthly staffing schedules; approval of PTO, staff shift trades, and extra shifts; support to nursing units and Staffing Specialists; monitoring daily schedules; production of reports for nursing leadership; Kronos support. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, Informatics, HR or other related degree or minimum 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1 year experience using a complex automated time and attendance system, or equivalent combination of education and timekeeping experience. 1 year experience in a related field. 1 year experience as a Timekeeper or Nursing Staff Scheduler. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Informatics, HR or other related degree. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
