Pharmacy Infectious Diseases Clinical Specialist, Pharmacy, $10,000 Bonus, FT, 08A-4:30P

Description The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist I is expected to take responsibility for establishing and expanding clinical services in the area of practice. This includes developing medication protocols, creating order sets, and facilitating medication utilization reviews and performance improvement projects to optimize drug therapy. The role provides mentorship and serves as a clinical resource for staff and other healthcare providers in the area of expertise, offering expertise for clinical activities related to various programs within the department of pharmacy to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Additionally, the specialist performs drug distributive functions as assigned and demonstrates the ability to work with patients' growth and development across population groups, meeting standards of quality as measured by the quality improvement process. Estimated salary range: $118,907.47 - $154,579.71 per year, depending on experience. Qualifications Degrees: Doctorate (Pharm.D.) Licenses & Certifications: Registered Pharmacist Minimum Required Experience: 5 years of practice experience in the area of specialty with Board Certification Additional Qualifications: PGY1 residency with 2 years practice experience in the area of specialty and Board Certification required PGY2 residency must have Board Certification within 1 year of hire If no residency training, must have 5 years of practice experience in the area of specialty and Board Certification If no Board Certification, must obtain Board Certification within one year of hire to remain in this position #J-18808-Ljbffr JobRx, Inc.
