Sr Product Manager - Ion Systems
Intuitive Surgical
Senior Product Manager for Ion's robotic endoluminal systems, responsible for development, launch, and lifecycle management of capital equipment platforms. Role requires cross-functional collaboration across R&D, manufacturing, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams to drive product strategy and customer value.
Responsibilities
- Drive development, launch, and lifecycle management of robotic endoluminal systems from investigation through commercialization
- Capture voice-of-customer insights through clinician interviews, site observations, and key opinion leader engagement
- Develop and execute product roadmap strategy across multiple product lines and platforms with field team collaboration
- Monitor product quality and supply issues; lead cross-functional resolution initiatives to optimize customer experience
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform positioning, pricing, and business case recommendations
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years professional experience in medical device or commercial roles
- At least 5 years in product management, product marketing, or product-focused roles
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects independently with moderate risk
- Strong analytical skills to synthesize data and influence senior leadership decisions
- Proven ability to communicate compelling product narratives to cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience with voice-of-customer research and market analysis methodologies
