The incumbent will apply knowledge of programming techniques, computer systems and business processes to evaluate requests for a wide variety of new or modified programs, systems or databases to determine feasibility, resource requirements, compatibility with current systems, and computer capabilities; detecting and correcting program errors, testing, enhancing, maintaining and documenting the coded instructions for a variety of programs and systems; planning or directing the modification of programs to process data and solve data, database, system or report problems; and consulting with managerial and systems analysis personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming and coding required.Required Job Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, Management Information Systems, or other degrees can be considered +5 years of relevant work experience; OR 9 years minimum related experience in lieu of a degree.5 years experience in data analysis5 years experience with SQL or other relational database systems tools5 years experience in solution development and programmingClear and concise verbal and written communication skillsPlanning and organizational skillsAbility to work in a team environmentRecommend other possible data sources, ways to visualize and validate dataUse advanced objects such as stored procedures / user defined functions / production processes (automation)Data & Business Process SME in LOB or Topic; Tool expertise for solutionPerformance and security insights of data technologyAdvanced experience in iterative application developmentDevelop, recommend, evaluate and/or approve specifications for databases, solutions, and reports.Champion verification/validation of databases, program results and reports for accuracy and completeness.Intermediate abilities on data tech (BI, DB Platforms, or other type data toolsets)Preferred Job Qualifications: Experience with Teradata and/or SQL Server.ETL development experience: Extract Transform LoadExperience developing and maintaining: Stored Procedures TriggersClaims data experienceSchedule: This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.#LI-MG1Are you being referred to one of our roles?
