Power Platform Developer - Remote

Job Duties

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Power Platform Developer for a contract position with a Renowned Healthcare Organization located in Rochester, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position is 100% remote.

Compensation: $60.00 - $68.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of custom system software, with a primary focus on the Power Platform suite. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Power BI and Power Platform, working effectively across departmental organizations to evaluate alternative approaches and present recommendations to teams and unit leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate alternative approaches and present recommendations to teams and unit leadership

• Regularly review applications and make modifications and/or updates to ensure currency and functionality

• Maintain and support multiple systems or complex software applications and their associated hardware

• Produce and maintain documentation such as system requirements, designs, resource inventories, and plans

• Provide technical and project leadership to other staff members

• Work effectively across departmental organizations to gain consensus of stakeholders

• Interface with vendor support service groups or other external support teams to ensure proper escalation during outages

• Act as a liaison to internal departments and vendors to adequately support computing systems

• May be required to provide 24/7 on-call support

Primary Requirements:

• Expert-level experience with Power Platform, Power Workspace, and Power BI

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience, including one (1) year of demonstrated technical experience * OR Associate's degree and seven (7) years of experience, including one (1) year of demonstrated technical experience

• Experience working in healthcare technology

• Exposure to managing both custom-developed and vendor-supplied applications

• Applies effective system design principles and software development methodologies

• Demonstrated ability to multitask among multiple complex assigned tasks/projects

• Strong communication, meeting management, and organizational skills

• Evidence of project management skills

• Ability to take initiative and work independently

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Azure DevOps

• Experience with Tableau or Crystal

• SQL Server Reporting Services

• Experience with Epic analytical tools (Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, Cogito, Slicer Dicer)

• BigQuery, Google Cloud, or Python

• Master's degree in an applicable field
