AAS/AOS Welding Instructors Urgently Needed in Dallas, Texas Campus. We’re gearing up for the launch of our AAS and AOS Welding Associate Degree Program—and we need outstanding welding faculty to make it happen! Job Description: Maintain accurate record keeping, as it applies to student attendance and their grades, and advise students on their attendance, grades, and discipline issues, as necessary. Create and maintain a safe environment at all times. Manage all tools assigned to the classroom, including issuing, inspecting, repairing, and teaching proper handling of those tools. Communicate, support, and enforce school policies and procedures at all times, and advise students accordingly. Ensure an ethical and fair testing environment during periods of testing. Maintain classroom equipment through evaluation, inspection, parts ordering, and repair. Evaluate the curriculum to ensure continuing relevance. Conform to prescribed methods of record keeping, as directed by supervisory staff. Communicate promptly regarding supplies, tools, or other essentials needed for students in the classroom. Maintain a working field knowledge through continuing education and demonstrate continuing professional development of your technical expertise. Attend semi-annual graduation ceremonies (mandatory for instructors). Job Requirements: Who We’re Looking For: Upper-Level Welding Instructors with an associate degree (bachelor’s degree or higher preferred). 4–5 years recent industry experience (NDT, QA, fabrication). AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) required (can have CAWI as long as they are achieving CWI within established timeframe). Preferred: AWS SCWI (Senior Certified Welding Inspector), ASNT Level III in applicable NDT methods, OSHA 30, Radiation Safety, or equivalent regulatory training.
