This role oversees the youth ministry and outreach.

Church Profile

FFBC is an historic church in the middle of a revitalization. We currently average 250 on Sunday mornings, with 15-25 students on a weekly basis. As our entire church continues to grow and receive weekly visitors, our youth ministry is in an excellent position to thrive.

We have over 60,000 lost people within a 10-minute drive of our church building.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ministry to 6th-12th grade studentsPartner with parents to disciple their students
  • Cultivate a culture that leads to spiritual and evangelistic growth
  • Recruit and train a team of volunteers
  • Coordinate youth events, such as camp and DNow
  • Establish relationships with local middle schools and high schools
  • Create a comprehensive discipleship strategy for our church for PreK-12th grade
• Coordinate with the Kids Director in discipling families
• Lead FFBC’s outreach efforts
  • Establish a plan for local evangelism, international missions, and strategic local and international partnerships in coordination with the Senior Pastor
  • Plan and execute outreach events that mobilize the church into the community and around the world

Qualifications

• Christian maturity
• A desire to serve the local church as an overseer
• An interest in revitalization ministry
• 3-5 years of ministry experience preferred
• Theological education preferred

Compensation

This role pays $62,000/yr in salary, housing, and retirement
