CT Technologist (RRT)

The CT Technologist (RRT) performs specialized diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. This position requires providing services during after-hours, weekends, and holidays to support patient care needs across various clinical settings.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners, injectors, and post-processing equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Position patients accurately according to protocol while ensuring patient comfort and explaining procedures.
• Adjust imaging protocols based on patient needs and evaluate image quality to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Assist radiologists during invasive procedures such as biopsies and drainages.
• Maintain proper patient identification, documentation, and communication regarding delays and procedure explanations.
• Keep abreast of new imaging techniques and research to improve practice standards.

Qualifications:

• ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Advanced certification in Computed Tomography is mandatory.
• Possess a two-year allied health degree.
• Minimum of two years of recent, full-time experience in both CT and X-ray within hospital or emergency settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency with diagnostic imaging terminology, procedures, and patient care protocols.
