Contract | Full-Time | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level IV NICU environment, including assignment to a BPD (bronchopulmonary dysplasia) unit where average patient length of stay is extended; must be comfortable with frequent trach care and heavy parent/family involvement.
• Float to other specialty units as needed, including PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, and medical/surgical; appropriate assignments will be provided based on competency.
• Float to additional campuses as required; flexibility across multiple care sites is expected.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care across varied acuity levels.
• Maintain active Ohio RN license in hand prior to start, along with current BLS and NRP certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of start
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Level IV NICU experience
• Minimum of 2 years of combined Level III/IV NICU experience
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with trach care and management of medically complex, long-term NICU patients
• Prior float pool or multi-unit experience across specialty and general care areas
• Comfort working across diverse care settings and patient populations at varying acuity levels
