About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Biostatistician to join their dedicated research and development team based in Welkom . This role is essential for providing statistical expertise in the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials and observational studies. You will work closely with epidemiologists, clinicians, and other scientists to ensure the rigorous statistical integrity of research projects, contributing significantly to the development of new healthcare solutions. Key Responsibilities Design clinical trials and epidemiological studies, developing statistical analysis plans. Perform statistical analyses of research data using SAS, R, or similar statistical software. Interpret statistical results and communicate them effectively to research teams and regulatory agencies. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of statistical data collection and reporting. Collaborate with investigators to address statistical issues throughout the research process. Contribute to the preparation of study protocols, grant applications, and research publications. Requirements Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Biostatistician in pharmaceutical, biotech, or academic research. Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, or SPSS. Strong understanding of clinical trial design and statistical methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
