In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:

• Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

• Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.

• Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).

• Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable.

• A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.

• Federal Work Study student may apply.

• In good disciplinary standing.

• Must be located in the U.S.

We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized Berklee undergraduate student to join The F Word: Building a Feminist Songwriting Movement ( as our Student Marketing Lead. Running from October 1 through May 31, this position takes full ownership of digital outreach, content creation, and audience engagement across campus. You will build awareness for our fall/spring workshop series, alumni writing groups, song submission calls, and the inaugural International Women’s Day Concert (Targeted March 2027).

This role offers hands-on experience in creative campaign direction, brand building, and event promotion within an intersectional feminist artistic framework.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Social Media Management: Lead content creation, grid curation, and daily engagement for Instagram (@thefwordcommunity ) and build out our newly launching TikTok channel.
• Content Creation: Design visual assets, short-form video concepts (Reels/TikTok), and promotional copy highlighting the 5 core F Word themes ( Identity, Confronting Sexism, Healing and Overcoming, Collaboration, Feminist Anthem ).
• Campus Outreach: Coordinate digital flyer distribution, cross-promote with campus partners (such as Title IX, Diversity & Inclusion), and drive student engagement for song submissions and workshop registration.
• Event & Group Coverage: Document live workshops, guest lectures, and behind-the-scenes showcase preparations. Coordinate with the team leads to gather content from alumni-led writing groups and related off-campus events.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Currently enrolled Berklee undergraduate student eligible for Berklee Student Employment.
• Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts (Instagram and TikTok) with strong visual aesthetic and copywriting skills.
• Proficiency in basic graphic design and short-form video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Premiere, Photoshop).
• Strong organizational and self-management skills; ability to balance tasks across the academic year independently.
• Passion for socially engaged art, intersectional feminism, and community-centered music making.
