Position Overview The Sorter Associate will operate computerized vision equipment to inspect and package product for shipment including labeling and palletizing. The Sorter Associate focuses on running equipment and on packaging parts for inventory/shipment. Main Responsibilities Adherence to all safety policies and procedures. Adherence to all quality policies and procedures. Operation of equipment. Clean up of equipment between jobs Performing preventative maintenance requirements Assisting with set-up of equipment Operation of equipment at targeted rate Validating proper operation of equipment Loading of unsorted product Scraping of non-conforming parts Packaging of conforming parts Inspection of product being sorted Boxing, labeling, and palletizing parts. Maintenance of production records Maintenance of lot control. Key Competencies Mechanical Skills Decision Making Team Skills Problem Solving Skills Communication Skills Reading Skills Basic Math Skills Computer Skills Skills and Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2-5 years relevant experience required, warehouse setting preferred. Ability to read, understand and maintain records as required. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift experience preferred.
