Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CVOR RN to provide specialized cardiovascular surgical services in a dynamic clinical setting. This role involves managing adult patients with complex cardiac diagnoses, ensuring safe and effective perioperative care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and postoperative care for adult cardiac surgery patients.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate patient care and ensure accurate documentation.
• Monitor patient conditions closely, responding promptly to changes or emergencies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and clinical guidelines to maintain optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize hospital technology such as EPIC and Omnicell for medication and patient record management.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing coverage as required, including weekends.

Qualifications:

• Hold current New York State Registered Nursing licensure.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience.
• Certified in ACLS and BLS.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an associate’s degree or higher.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and floating as needed based on census.
