About the Role This is a General Liability Pre‑Suit Attorney role with a large, well‑resourced plaintiff personal injury firm in Phoenix. The team handles a high volume of GL cases and needs an attorney who can own a pre‑litigation docket, drive settlements, and lead a team of case managers without needing to be walked through the process. This is not a training role. If you have real plaintiff PI or GL experience managing pre‑litigation matters from intake through demand and settlement, this is a strong opportunity with stable comp and a clear structure behind you. What You Will Do Manage a high‑volume general liability pre‑litigation docket Evaluate liability and develop case strategy early in the process Draft and send demand packages and oversee settlement negotiations with carriers Supervise and coordinate a team of case managers Serve as the primary point of contact for clients before suit is filed Track KPIs and hit defined pre‑suit performance benchmarks Determine which cases are ready to flip to litigation Must‑Have Background 1+ years of plaintiff PI or general liability attorney experience Comfort managing a large pre‑litigation case load with defined metrics Experience negotiating directly with insurance carriers Ability to lead or closely supervise non‑attorney staff Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Phoenix Compensation Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 depending on experience, plus a monthly performance bonus of up to $2,000, putting realistic all‑in compensation in the $125,000 to $150,000 range once you are ramped.
