Leveraging technology, you will conduct virtual sessions, ensuring continued access to therapeutic support for clients from varied community backgrounds. Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at EcoMind, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, needs, and treatment goals. Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual clients' objectives and preferences. Providing individual therapy to adult clients through evidence-based practices, ensuring a focus on solution-oriented outcomes. Utilizing teletherapy platforms effectively to deliver seamless virtual therapy sessions to ensure client engagement. Responding to crisis situations with professional intervention services when necessary, ensuring client safety and support. Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of industry standards, innovative practices, and mental health best practices through regular training and workshops. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clients will include a diverse array of adults facing various mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and life transitions. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and connection with clients. Effective organizational and time-management skills to manage caseloads and therapy sessions efficiently. Preferred Experience While we value fresh perspectives, a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, along with familiarity in delivering therapy via telehealth platforms. Experience in crisis intervention and knowledge of evidence-based therapies is advantageous.
