Sales Manager

Overview
This person will lead the development and sale of new AutoStore projects, working closely with marketing and business development to manage and qualify leads from various channels and maintain a robust sales funnel.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and sale of new AutoStore projects.
- Maintain and qualify new leads from existing Kardex Group clients, inbound leads, trade show leads, Business Development team leads, and contacts in the professional logistics/supply‑chain network.
- Act as the client’s voice while coordinating with internal teams, and vice‑versa.
- Follow a disciplined sales process and track all client interactions in Salesforce.
- Negotiate deals to ensure all parties are positioned for project success.
- Prefer standard solutions; reserve custom/complex solutions for exceptional cases.
- Close deals to drive company growth.
- Assist in developing standard solutions, sales tools, and processes that better serve clients.
- Stay current on industry trends to guide the company’s strategy.
- Travel to client sites to build relationships and understand their business.
- Support projects during implementation and lead budgeting, costing, and fixed‑price proposal activities for on‑time delivery.
- Collaborate globally with colleagues to support joint initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Candidates with other or no degree will be evaluated based on prior industry experience.
- Five or more years of experience in sales, consulting, and/or design engineering within the intralogistics industry.
- Proven portfolio of sales projects completed in the intralogistics domain.
- Experience managing sales, consulting, project, and team activities.
- Strong ability to assess client operations, identify opportunities, and develop business cases.
- Experience creating optimal solutions that deliver client benefit and return on investment.
- Strong budgeting, costing, and fixed‑price proposal skills for timely project delivery.
- Familiarity with standard solutions such as g‑t‑robot picking and the ability to improve sales templates and processes.
- Capability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment and handle a wide range of tasks across multiple locations.
