Position Overview Senior Director, Indirect Services – Global Procurement (DePuy Synthes) Responsible for leading all indirect service categories, building a high‑performance team, and driving strategy, sourcing, and value delivery across international markets. Job Locations New Brunswick, New Jersey; Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; Raynham, Massachusetts; Warsaw, Indiana; West Chester, Pennsylvania Scope & Impact Global ownership of indirect services categories (Commercial, Business Services, R&D and CCFS). Accountable for category strategy, sourcing execution, supplier performance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Category Vision, Strategy & Planning Develop vision, strategy, and implementation plans for all indirect services categories. Translate business and sector strategies into multi‑year roadmaps with market intelligence, demand analytics, and TCO modeling. Procurement Execution & Value Delivery Execute procurement strategies, manage end‑to‑end sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier transition. Deliver on balanced scorecard targets (financial, service, reliability, quality, risk, sustainability, stakeholder satisfaction). International Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement Collaborate with senior business leaders, Finance, Legal, IT, HR, Risk/Compliance, and Operations to align procurement strategy with global business needs and enterprise priorities. Supplier Relationship, Performance & Innovation Build deep partnerships with strategic suppliers, manage performance, drive innovation pipelines, and resolve supply‑chain issues to protect business continuity. Portfolio, Governance & Risk Escalation Define and manage procurement initiatives portfolio, establish governance and decision forums, and address risks, compliance, and strategic misalignments. People Leadership Build and sustain a team of ~18 professionals, fostering an inclusive high‑engagement culture and strong performance management. Qualifications & Education Master’s degree or equivalent preferred. Bachelor’s degree required (technical preferred). 12+ years of comprehensive procurement experience, including global category management, technology deployment, and supplier‑driven innovation. Proven record of transforming and leading global procurement in complex, matrixed environments. Strong business acumen, leadership, and collaboration skills. Advanced knowledge of procurement technologies, process optimization, and payment processing. Skills & Capabilities Build and inspire high‑performance teams. Collaborate across multi‑business‑unit environments. Establish internal and external partnerships. Develop total cost of ownership models. Link market conditions to internal opportunities. Base Salary & Pay Transparency Base salary range: $178,000.00 – $307,050.00. Benefits: Vacation – 120 hrs; Sick – 40 hrs (additional 48 hrs for Colorado, 56 hrs for Washington). Floating Holidays – 13 days. Work, Personal & Family Time – up to 40 hrs. Parental Leave – 480 hrs. Bereavement – 240 hrs. Caregiver Leave – 80 hrs/52‑week period. Volunteer Leave – 32 hrs.
