Full time Hospice Registered Nurse

Overview University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Full-time Hospice Registered Nurse to join our compassionate team in Livonia, MI. This role focuses on providing exceptional end-of-life care to patients and their families, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life during challenging times. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care and symptom management to hospice patients in their homes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on disease progression, symptom management, and available resources. Document patient care accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and coordinate appropriate interventions. Support patients and families emotionally and spiritually during end-of-life care. Requirements Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan. Experience in hospice, palliative care, or related nursing field preferred. Strong clinical assessment and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes within the Livonia area.
