Job Details Job Location: Park Plaza Resort - Park City, UT 84060. Position Type: Full Time. Park Plaza Resort located in Park City, UT is now hiring for a Maintenance Manager. POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Manager manages the property’s facility and grounds maintenance program through planning, supervision of staff, adherence to established standards, and preparation of related reports. This position helps ensure maximum production, safety, quality, and consistency while protecting the company’s assets and ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for guests and employees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Initiates, implements, and manages the maintenance program based on best practices in the resort industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive maintenance. Maintains and repairs maintenance shop equipment. Ensures that maintenance staff are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to perform assigned work in a safe, timely, and cost‑effective manner. Communicates regularly and effectively with all staff to ensure clarity regarding expectations and a positive work environment. Assists with hiring of maintenance staff, rewards and disciplines as appropriate, and conducts performance reviews. Maintains and updates operating and training manuals. OTHER FUNCTIONS The Maintenance Manager may also carry out other responsibilities as assigned by Resort Management. QUALIFICATIONS Education/Credentials High school diploma or GED. EPA Certification. CPO Certification (or willing to obtain). Experience 4 years of hospitality building maintenance experience. 2‑3 years of supervisory or management experience. Other Requirements Must possess a valid driver’s license. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The Maintenance Manager must be able to stand, walk, sit, handle light loads, lift up to 51–100 lbs frequently, push/pull up to 12 lbs occasionally, climb, and perform various physical tasks as required. WORK ENVIRONMENT The Maintenance Manager works both outside in varying weather conditions and inside in an office environment.
