DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This role oversees financial planning and reporting for programs within the agency. As a County Fiscal Officer 2, you will perform the following duties:

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This role oversees financial planning and reporting for programs within the agency. As a County Fiscal Officer 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Staff Supervision: Guide, train, and support fiscal staff in daily tasks and assigned projects
- Budget Preparation: Assemble and prepare state and county budgets by reviewing expenditures and analyzing program needs
- Financial Reporting: Oversee completion of state and federal expenditure reports and ensure compliance with regulations
- Audit Support: Assist with audit preparation and take part in required audit activities
- Grant Oversight: Monitor agency grants, ensure regulations are followed, and prepare financial reports for state submission
- Eligibility Review: Oversee review of applications to determine medical and Title IV-E eligibility for children entering placement
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or
- Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
- Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.
