Position Functions and Duties:
- The Youth Counselor is responsible for creating fun, safe, and memorable experiences for children participating in Youth Lodge programs throughout the year.
- During the school year, counselors lead after-school activities, Friday Night Free Play, weekend events, holiday programming, and special family events.
- During the summer, counselors transition into Summer Camp, leading campers through themed activities, sports, swimming, crafts, field trips, and more.
This position is perfect for someone with an outgoing personality, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for working with children. Successful counselors jump in, engage with children, take initiative, and help create an exciting environment every day!
