You will participate in regular team meetings and training sessions, ensuring ongoing professional development and cultural competency. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique experiences and craft personalized treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, adapting modalities to suit individual cultural and personal contexts. Facilitate engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions, emphasizing resilience and positive mental health outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver holistic care tailored to each patient's needs. Provide crisis intervention support, demonstrating calmness and professionalism in high-stress situations. Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment routes, and relevant community resources. Maintain precise, confidential documentation of sessions to comply with legal and ethical guidelines while ensuring the safety of patient records. Proactively participate in team conferences, case discussions, and continuous cultural competency training. Stay current with clinical best practices, new research findings, and evolving cultural trends in mental health therapy. Qualifications A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois. A deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based approaches, coupled with a strong foundation in cultural competence. Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy in a way that respects and responds to cultural differences. Strong skills in crisis intervention and the ability to maintain composure under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build therapeutic relationships with a wide range of clients. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications. A commitment to uphold professional ethics, boundaries, and client confidentiality. Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while contributing to shared learning experiences. Preferred Experience At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly with diverse populations. Experience in crisis intervention settings or environments dealing with high-acuity clients. Familiarity with telehealth delivery methods and technology. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 based on experience and qualifications.
