Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home care experience for a float role serving the North Region (Chelsea, East Boston, Revere, and Winthrop) through a Massachusetts-based home health organization.

Job Details

• Home health setting serving patients in their place of residence across the Chelsea, East Boston, Revere, and Winthrop areas,
• Float position covering the North Region,
• Patient population ranges from birth to 100+ years of age, with conditions including physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes,
• Shift hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM,
• Weekend rotation is required approximately once every 6 weeks,
• Charting is done in Epic,
• Position requires travel to patient homes as cases are assigned,

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required; MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted,
• Minimum 1 year of home care experience required,
• All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA),
• 2 professional references required for consideration,
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted,
• License required if applicable,

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in their home, collaborating with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate care,
• Timely and thorough electronic documentation is expected in accordance with agency policies and standards of practice,
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the Boston facility are considered local and may be subject to a different pay rate,
• No validated parking is available at Boston-area locations; public transportation or paid public parking lots are available (approximately $17-$22/day),
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos,
• Any requested time off (RTO) should be disclosed upfront
