Shuttle Driver/DOT-3

Responsibilities Perform shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle. Load and unload aircraft/vehicles. Sort packages. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED (Minimum Education). No prior experience required (Minimum Experience). Ability to successfully complete all basic and re‑currency training. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment. Proficiency with power and hand tools. Meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Effectively communicate verbally in a time‑sensitive, noisy operations environment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Read and speak English to understand traffic signs and respond to official inquiries in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance. Job Conditions Requires medical exam in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations. Non‑covered safety sensitive position. Must maintain a constant state of alertness and work safely. Must be licensed for the type of equipment assigned.
