Quality Inspector Opportunity in Goleta, CA!
Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team in Goleta, California. As a Quality Inspector, you will perform inspections and nondestructive tests on mechanical, electrical, or structural components or systems. Your role is crucial in ensuring conformance with quality requirements for naval reactor plants and associated systems, supporting ship construction, overhaul, refueling, and repair contracts. Working under general supervision, you will have decision-making responsibilities regarding the acceptance or rejection of work and tests performed. Your expertise will help maintain our competitive position in the nuclear field.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in quality inspection
- Proficiency in Aerospace, Dimensional Inspection, and Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with Microsoft Applications and Precision Measuring Tools
- Receiving inspection skills
Preferences
- Experience with Cable Harness Assembly
- CMM Programming skills
- Familiarity with Optical Comparators
- Solder Certification
This is a contract-only position with standard 40-hour work weeks, offering an hourly pay rate. While this position is intended to be contracted to hire, please note that this is not a promise to hire by Northrop Grumman.
