Location: Texas (Community-Based Services)
Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

About the Opportunity

Heights of Hope, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide therapeutic services to adults enrolled in our Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Adult Mental Health Program throughout Texas.

This is a 1099 contract position offering flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and a unique opportunity to expand your professional practice. In addition to agency referrals, qualified clinicians may have opportunities to obtain clients through the owner's established professional network, including affiliate group homes and community-based behavioral health providers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual counseling and therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, case managers, and community providers.
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment goals as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when appropriate.
• Promote recovery-oriented and person-centered care practices.
• Ensure compliance with Texas regulations and HCBS Adult Mental Health Program requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in good standing.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Experience working with adults experiencing serious mental illness preferred.
• Knowledge of community-based behavioral health services.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload.
• Reliable transportation for community visits, when applicable.
