Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist

Location: San Antonio, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient-centered care. Responsibilities will include evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing rehabilitation services to help patients regain independence.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to enhance recovery and rehabilitation.
• Facilitate and monitor patient progress in therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and therapeutic exercises.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Basic knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation principles and practices.
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
• Must possess a current BLS certification.
• Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation is preferred.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 2 weekends per 4-week period.
