Warehouse Supervisor

Summary Under the responsibility of the Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor supervises, coordinates, and oversees day‑to‑day logistics operations, provides coaching, development and training to staff, and recommends improvements to facility, equipment, machinery and processes to meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities Supervise, coordinate and oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations. Plan and review, in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, all logistics processes to meet company standards and customer service specifications. Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities to ensure optimal shift/team logistics. Account for site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and work in collaboration with customers on all aspects of operations. Meet regularly with team members collectively and individually to monitor progress, track performance, coach, counsel and recognize successes. Cultivate a team spirit through a Diversity and Inclusion initiative and promote cooperation by improving internal processes. Conduct performance evaluations of team members and recommend performance awards and merit increases when appropriate. Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes. Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations with all employees. Implement health & safety and security initiatives, practices and policies to ensure compliance with company rules. Provide orientation for employees and Lead Hands and supply them with information, technology, and materials necessary to perform their jobs. Perform other duties as assigned. One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred. Direct supervisory/leadership experience of 0 to 1 year required. DOT regulated: No. Compensation & Schedule Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid twice per month. Annual salary range: $72,000 – $78,000 based on experience. Must be flexible to work any shift.
