Assistant Director of Finance – Neurology Department

Montefiore Einstein seeking a results-driven Assistant Director of Finance with strong hospital finance experience, exceptional analytical skills, and advanced Excel expertise to support the financial operations of our Neurology Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to departmental leadership.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, expense monitoring, and efficient financial processes.
• Utilize financial systems to support data analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven hospital or healthcare finance experience.
• Familiarity with Workday, Strada, Info, or similar financial systems.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Starting Base Salary: $165,000.00
