Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Pass-fail EKG exam required during onboarding. Previous charge nurse experience preferred. Epic experience required. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. The position involves caring for observation patients and managing various respiratory conditions. The nurse will encounter general medical and surgical diagnoses as well as palliative and hospice patients. Clinical responsibilities include managing diabetes complications, surgical patients, and psychiatric observation cases. Nurses will be expected to provide evidence-based care while facilitating effective patient communication and education. The role will require the management of various technologies and treatments, including BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia interpretation. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and fully comply with onboarding requirements. All nurses are subject to float across facilities as needed. Candidates should be prepared for the pass-fail EKG exam and should have studied the necessary materials prior to compliance.
