Surgical Tech II
LiveWell Homecare Agency
Performs specialized technical duties in a surgical or procedural setting under supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician. Assists the surgical team with equipment and instrumentation to ensure a safe operating room environment, verifying that necessary equipment is available and functioning properly. Qualifications Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program Experience Preferred: One year of experience as a Surgical Tech Certification/Licensure Must hold one of the following: Surgical Technician Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Surgical Technician Certification by the National Center for Competency Testing United States Military or U.S. Public Health Service Surgical Technology Program Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within ninety (90) days of hire #J-18808-Ljbffr
