Senior Accountant Position in Milwaukee

A growing non-profit in Milwaukee is looking for a new Senior Accountant to join the team. This position will have a direct line to the CFO and will also get to take advantage of a great hybrid schedule!

Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close by completing assigned tasks and preparing supporting schedules.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and providing variance analysis for management review.
• Maintain accuracy in assigned accounting areas such as AP/AR, payroll accounting, fixed assets, cash
• Prepare audit documentation and support internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and established accounting policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather information and resolve accounting issues. xihmbke

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Loan Accounting experience REQUIRED
• 2+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
