Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Start Date:

• 11/9/2026
• Contract Length: 3 months ongoing. Anticipate coverage for 1 year

Schedule & Shift Details:

• 24-hour call: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
• Hospital rounding, reads, and cath procedures
• Weekend call coverage
• Vacation coverage as needed
• Approximately 6 days of coverage per month

Practice Setting:

• Hospital
• 110-bed hospital
• Parkland Cardiology

Patient Volume:

• Approximately 18-20 patients per day
• 4-5 hours of rounding per day
• Minimal callback
• Patient Population: Ages 40-90

Support Staff:

• 1 Interventional Cardiologist
• 1 General Cardiologist
• 1 PA
• 1 NP

Procedures:

• Cardiac catheterizations
• TEE
• Pacemakers

EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Active Missouri license required; IMLC considered
• DEA required
• BLS and ACLS required
• 3-5 years of experience required
• Credentialing: 45-60 days
