Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for assessing residents, administering medications, reporting changes in their conditions to the physician and charge nurse, updating family members, and assisting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Essential Job Duties:

• Administer medications to residents while adhering to the 5 Rights of medication administration.
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, and misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
• Notify the charge nurse of any changes in resident conditions.
• Assist CNAs with responding to call lights and other responsibilities.
• Provide updates to physicians and family members regarding changes in resident conditions as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Must hold and maintain a valid Wisconsin LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are required.
