Associate Attorney - Commercial Transportation / Auto Litigation / Premise Liability

Arthur, Chapman, Kettering, Smetak & Pikala, P.A., a 50+ attorney law firm, is seeking an associate attorney with at least two years of experience in commercial transportation, auto litigation, and/or premise liability to join our growing practice. Interested applicants should expect broad, hands-on involvement in all aspects of civil litigation, including the jury trial process. Associates will be given as many interesting and challenging opportunities and responsibilities as they are willing and able to handle capably, proficiently, and enthusiastically, including written discovery, investigation, interacting with clients, witnesses, and adversaries, taking depositions, attending motion hearings, participating in mediations, and, of course, trial. This role is best suited for someone who wants to move beyond the desk and develop real courtroom experience. Applicants must have a JD from the Class of 2022 or earlier; candidates graduating after 2022 will not be considered. The ideal candidate has excellent research, writing, and analytical skills; strong attention to detail; and a proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
