Customer Service Specialist

Salary: $55,000 annually (potential flexibility based on experience) We're seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join a growing team in Charleston, SC. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity supporting customers in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced setting while working collaboratively across multiple departments. Responsibilities: Professionally handle customer communications via phone and email. Process and manage customer orders, including updates and modifications. Coordinate customer orders with internal departments and global teams. Resolve customer concerns and complaints in partnership with Sales and other departments. Support accounts receivable activities with the assigned team. Provide accurate and timely information to internal stakeholders. Utilize internal systems to manage customer activity. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist with additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives. Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required. Previous customer service experience in a professional office or manufacturing environment. SAP experience is a plus. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
