About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 12-hour Mid Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years of Emergency Room experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS required Must-Have: - Must live 50 miles away from the work location - Must be available to start within 7 days of offer - Must be willing and able to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN - Must be willing to take 1:5 patient ratios Description: The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment. It treats every type of patient. ED nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. Patients range from urgent care cases to psych, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients. Nurses coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex nursing care needs. This ensures the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience.
