IT Infrastructure Manager

OverviewMB2 Dental is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to join our rapidly growing Dental Partnership Organization (DPO). MB2 supports over 800 dental practices nationwide, as well as our corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX.Our IT organization operates within a hybrid internal IT and managed service provider (MSP) model, supporting a distributed 24/7 clinical environment. The manager ensures implementations are standardized, scalable, and compliant, and leads both internal and third-party teams to meet operational standards.Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure Standards & Technical GovernanceEstablish and maintain enterprise infrastructure standards across all supported locationsDefine approved configurations for server deployments, network implementations, and site-level infrastructure buildsEnsure infrastructure installations align with documented technical blueprints and regulatory requirementsProvide technical oversight and approval authority for infrastructure design changesDevelop and maintain infrastructure architecture guidelines and configuration standardsField, Network & Server Infrastructure LeadershipDirectly manage and develop infrastructure personnel, including network engineers, systems/server administrators, field infrastructure specialists, and telecom functionsProvide clear technical direction, workload prioritization, and performance oversight for infrastructure team membersLead technical direction for field server deployments and network installations across supported locations.Oversee telecom infrastructure standards across corporate and field environmentsServe as the primary technical escalation authority for network, server, and infrastructure platform issues in coordination with IT OperationsEnsure consistent infrastructure configurations across a distributed, multi-site healthcare organizationPlatform Lifecycle & Continuous ImprovementGuide infrastructure modernization initiatives and lifecycle planningEvaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations aligned with business strategyDrive reductions in configuration variability and improve infrastructure consistency across locationsPromote automation and engineering-driven improvements within the infrastructure stackMaintain infrastructure documentation, configuration baselines, and technical standardsSecurity & Compliance AlignmentEnsure infrastructure platforms align with organizational security policies and healthcare regulatory requirementsPartner with IT Security to maintain resilient and compliant infrastructure controlsSupport disaster recovery readiness and infrastructure resilience initiativesVendor & MSP GovernanceOversee third-party infrastructure providers to ensure alignment with defined standards and configurationsProvide technical review and guidance for infrastructure implementations performed by external partnersCollaborate with IT leadership to ensure consistent infrastructure execution across all supported locationsWhat Success Looks Like:Infrastructure deployments are standardized and consistent across locationsField server and network installations align with defined technical blueprintsNetwork and server teams operate under clear technical direction and configuration standardsInfrastructure platforms scale reliably to support organizational growthInternal teams and third-party providers execute within clearly defined technical guidelinesTechnology Environment:Microsoft 365 and Azure hybrid cloud platformsHybrid Active Directory and identity environmentsEnterprise networking across distributed, multi-site locationsServer and virtualization platformsMulti-site WAN and telecom infrastructureRegulated healthcare or compliance-driven IT environmentsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)7+ years of progressive infrastructure experience in enterprise environments5+ years of leadership experience managing infrastructure or technical teamsStrong background in hybrid cloud environments and enterprise networkingExperience supporting multi-site or distributed organizations strongly preferredHealthcare or regulated industry experience preferredDemonstrated ability to establish, document, and enforce infrastructure standardsStrong leadership, communication, and technical governance skillsRelevant professional certifications preferredMB2 Dental Solutions, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.INDHRM200Job Summary
