VIP staffing is immediately hiring an Inventory Control candidate for a great company in Belen, NM
This is a Full Time Temp to hire position with a Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm schedule
Pay for this position is $20 per hour
As an inventory control person you will:
- Monitor warehouse operations to assure adequate supply of quality materials to production department
- Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Fill orders for production department
- Use hand hel bar code scanner, and other technology as required
- Perform all SAP transactions related to inventory control
- Perform area housekeeping duties and organizing work area
- Ensure participation and cooperation in company implemented OSHA programs
- May be required to rotate shifts and/or work weekends
Inventory control candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to complete basic mathematic calculations
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow instructions and work documents in English
- Computer Skills
- Forklift experience is a plus. Must be able to qualify for a fork truck license
- Ability to operate a stretch wrapper and other associated warehouse equipment. Experience is a plus
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
