Job Summary:

Assists with routine clerical work and bookkeeping, such as documenting transactions, processing payments, and preparing invoices to ensure the accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.

Job Description:

• Performs routine accounting activities such as receiving, processing, and updating of financial transactions for an organization or team.
• Processes travel reimbursements, accounts receivable, payroll, and other similar financial transactions.
• Processes orders, prepares invoices, and coordinates mailings.
• Calculates, posts, reconciles, and verifies duties to obtain primary financial data.
• Performs professional and complex clerical accounting tasks in maintaining financial records and processing related data including examining checks, vouchers, and other documents for accuracy.
• Serves as departmental liaison with personnel to obtain information to verify or support financial records and to answer inquiries concerning accounting procedures.
• Types and composes correspondence.
• Assists with manual distribution of fees.
• Reconciles university accounts.
• Responsible for receiving and depositing scholarship checks.
• Responsible for creating and sending invoices to donors.
• Performs related or similar duties as required or assigned.

Job Responsibilities:
