Data Engineer

Senior Data EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, optimize, and support enterprise-scale data platforms and analytics solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing reliable, scalable, and secure data pipelines, data products, and cloud-based analytics solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Azure, and related technologies. This role partners closely with architects, analysts, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that enable enterprise decision-making and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade data pipelines and data products.Build scalable ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions for structured and unstructured data.Develop and optimize data models, lakehouses, warehouses, and analytics datasets.Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise data platforms.Support and administer Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Azure Data Services, and Power BI environments.Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, security, and platform scalability.Monitor and improve platform performance, utilization, and operational efficiency.Build CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks using GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.Leverage Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools to streamline data platform operations.Promote DataOps and engineering best practices across teams.Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of data and platform issues.Maintain operational standards for reliability, security, and compliance.Partner with Data Architects, Analytics teams, Security, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and engineering excellence.Drive continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and process optimization.Experience7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related fields.3-5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Azure, CI/CD, and enterprise data platforms.Proven experience developing enterprise-scale analytics and data solutions.Technical SkillsRequired experience with:Microsoft FabricOneLakeAzure Data ServicesPower BIGitHub EnterpriseGitHub ActionsCI/CD PipelinesPythonPowerShellREST APIsMicrosoft PurviewData WarehousingData IntegrationMonitoring and Observability PlatformsReal-Time Analytics technologies including Eventstreams and KQL.Preferred CertificationsMicrosoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer ExpertMicrosoft Fabric CertificationAzure Data Engineering Certifications preferred.
