Job Opportunity – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 23, 2026

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Highlights:

• Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) assignment with exposure to critical care environments
• Float opportunities across three ICUs and Emergency Departments for patient holds
• Minimum 18 months of permanent ICU/Critical Care experience required
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license required prior to submission
• Contract extensions available up to 18 months with facility approval
• Comprehensive orientation including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments

Requirements:

• Active RN license - Ohio permanent or Compact State (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 18 months recent permanent Critical Care/ICU experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification preferred
• One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in Critical Care specialty (within past 12 months)
• Willingness to float to multiple ICU units and Emergency Departments as needed
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Influenza vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
