Candidates are expected to care for a patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:5-6, handling an average daily census of 48 patients in a 49-room unit. Familiarity with the Epic charting system is required. The nurse will be responsible for various medical procedures, including BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and hemodialysis management. Skills in wound care, medication administration, and patient monitoring are necessary. The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams, including therapy, pharmacy, social services, and respiratory services. The nurse should demonstrate flexibility and be willing to float within the facility based on patient care needs. Candidates must adhere to compliance requirements and are expected to work all major holidays during their assignment.
