Delivery Driver for Spur Logistics - Delivering Amazon Packages Full-time Job Type: Permanent Compensation: up to USD 21.25 - hourly Spur Logistics is an Amazon delivery service partner that delivers Amazon packages in the greater Charlotte, NC area. Full Time (4 days) & Part Time (3 days) positions available. Driver Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated locations within fifty miles of Charlotte, NC. Load and unload packages up to 50 pounds, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Handle the physical aspect of the job when completing 150 - 199 stops in all weather conditions. Walk 6-8 miles a day during an extended period of time, and move with a purpose. Climb several flights of stairs throughout the day. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with recipients. Adhere to traffic laws and company policies while driving. Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues to management. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety. No CDL required for this position. Work environment can include all kinds of weather (rain, sun, cold, heat). Basic Requirements Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license. Must be willing to submit to a drug screen. Must have a seven year clean driving record with no more than two marks on the record total. Must be in good physical shape to walk 5-7 miles during delivery day and deliver up to 190 delivery stops per day, finishing route safely in 10.5 hours. Must possess a great work ethic, attitude, and be extremely reliable. Must be willing to work at least Saturday or Sunday on weekends. Drivers will work a 10.5 hour shift with a four day work week. Hours are day shift and a schedule of 9:20am-7:45pm. Drivers are given two fifteen minute breaks and one thirty minute lunch break per shift. Drivers will be provided use of an Amazon branded van, uniforms, and work cell phone each day to navigate routes, deliver packages, and access customer delivery information. Paid training is provided.
