Insurance Sales Representative – Outbound Sales

We are looking for a driven, competitive, and motivated Sales Representative to join our insurance agency.

This is a SALES position.

The primary responsibility of this role is to create new business . You will be expected to make outbound calls, send text messages, follow up consistently with prospects, run insurance quotes, overcome objections, and close new auto and home insurance business.

If you enjoy talking with people, competing toward goals, following up until you get an answer, and asking for the sale, this could be a great fit.

If you are looking primarily for a customer service or administrative position, this is not that role.

What You’ll Do

You will spend a significant portion of your day actively working leads and pursuing new customers. Responsibilities include:

• Make a high volume of outbound sales calls
• Send outbound text messages and follow up with prospects
• Work leads and prospect lists provided by the agency
• Contact new prospects and identify insurance opportunities
• Run and present auto, home, renters, and other property & casualty insurance quotes
• Follow up consistently on open quotes and unsold prospects
• Ask questions to uncover customer needs and additional opportunities
• Handle objections confidently and professionally
• Ask for the sale and close new business
• Cross-sell additional insurance products when appropriate
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline
• Document calls, texts, quotes, and follow-up activity
• Meet established activity, quote, and production goals

Success in this position means you are actively creating opportunities instead of waiting for business to come to you.

We expect our sales team to:

CALL. TEXT. QUOTE. FOLLOW UP. CLOSE. REPEAT.

Simply running quotes is not enough. The expectation is to turn quotes into customers and consistently produce new business.

Licensing

A Property & Casualty insurance license is required for this position.

Monday–Friday
9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Leads and Training

Leads and training are provided , but providing leads does not mean waiting for customers to call you.

You will be expected to actively work those leads through outbound phone calls, text messages, quoting, and consistent follow-up until the opportunity is won, lost, or no longer viable.
