You'll expertly communicate with patients regarding their therapy, dosage, and delivery schedules, and assist pharmacists with patient follow-up and clinical documentation.To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional organizational skills, a strong ability to navigate complex insurance and patient support programs, and an unwavering commitment to patient advocacy.Under the supervision of a pharmacist, technicians are accountable for:Preparing and dispensing prescribed medications for patients.Performing compounding of intravenous medications.Assisting in managing inventory.Performing charging and crediting functions for medications associated with drug distribution processes.Performing routine clerical/administrative tasks.Where You'll WorkPenrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest.
