Before becoming a State Farm agent, I spent 15 years as a home builder, and I’ve also served as an active law enforcement officer for 20 years. I attended Stephen F. Austin State University and am a married father of two. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, hunting, long-distance and clay shooting, and occasionally getting out on the golf course. Our agency offers paid time off, paid holidays, and licensing costs paid up front. We also prioritize work-life balance with a 35-hour workweek. Our regular schedule is 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with a one-hour lunch each day. Our office is laid-back, close-knit, and fun. We genuinely get along with one another, communicate well, and believe enjoying the people you work with makes a difference. At the same time, we value accountability and expect everyone to take ownership of their responsibilities. ROLE DESCRIPTION As a Customer Service Representative with Jeremy Hooter - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance business. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you an ideal fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agent team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support. RESPONSIBILITIES Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed. Answer customer inquiries and requests. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions. QUALIFICATIONS Dedicated to customer service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and able to multitask. Previous customer service experience preferred.
