About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Physician Executive (CPE) to serve as the senior physician leader, with a focus on advancing clinical excellence, provider engagement, quality, safety, and system-wide care delivery performance. The CPE will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across all medical staff, ensuring alignment of clinical practice and service lines with care models, and upholding the organization's vision, mission, and strategic priorities. This role requires a seasoned leader with a strong background in clinical and operational leadership, including a minimum of 10 years' clinical experience and 10 years' progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate for the CPE position at the company will be a passionate and strategic visionary, dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible care. They must demonstrate the highest integrity, commitment to transparency, and the ability to inspire and empower leaders and caregivers. Key leadership characteristics include a systems-oriented approach, a focus on community healthcare, and a servant leadership style that is authentic, humble, and relationship-oriented. The CPE will be expected to have high emotional intelligence, the ability to cultivate and develop physician and APP leaders, and a commitment to being a visible leader across all care sites and communities. Active participation in the community to promote and advance the company's strategic initiatives is also a fundamental aspect of the role.
